Reviews, however, say that calling experience with this app is not that good. It’s either the connection keeps on breaking or you can’t hear what the person at the other end of the line is saying. One reviewer also said that once your credit runs out, it’s difficult to earn more.

Another calling app that works without the internet is MyLine. It’s a popular app that offers excellent quality yet cheap international calls for as lows as $0.001. It’s so cheap, it’s almost free!
It also offers unlimited free international SMS if you sign up for their service. So, you get super low Iiternational call rates and unlimited international SMS to boot. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone.
Also, you need not go through the hassle of convincing other people to install the app so you can call them. When using MyLine to call someone, the person you are trying to reach doesn’t need to have a registered account. You can call any device, be it a mobile phone, landline or even a PC.
3. Rebtel
Rebtel is a Sweden-based mobile communication company that launched a new feature called Rebel Calling. Rebtel allows users to have unlimited international calls for as low as $1 per month.
You don’t have to worry about having an unstable internet connection. As long as you are subscribed to Rebtel, all your calls will connect to local phone lines, providing you an excellent quality call at the same time.
The only downside with this app is that it does not offer Rebel Calling to some countries. If you try to place a call to these countries, Rebtel may charge you for extra fees.
4. Libon
When using the Libon calling app, you are given a free 30-minute phone call every month with no internet connection. You can use these free minutes to any landline and mobile number, even without a SIM card. You can also increase your free minutes of call of up to 60 minutes per month by referring the app to your friends.
5. Nanu
With Nanu calling app, you can have a 15-minute phone call per week for free and even without internet. You can use the app to any mobile and landline and even non-Nanu users.
It also offers unlimited calls, but that function requires an internet connection. Also, it should be Nanu to Nanu users only.
There are actually a lot of apps out there that allow you to call someone without using the internet. However, most of them are not worth downloading, unlike these five apps listed above. Remember, not all call apps can give you the perfect phone call experience.
